OFS AND STERLITE SETTLE LAWSUIT

NORCROSS, Georgia, January, 13, 2010 – OFS FITEL LLC (OFS), designer, manufacturer, and supplier of leading edge fiber optic products, on one hand and Sterlite Technologies Limited, India (Sterlite) on the other hand, are pleased to announce that the parties have fully and completely resolved the patent and related disputes pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Civ. Action No. 1:02-cv-02149-CAP. As part of the settlement, OFS has granted Sterlite a world-wide license to certain OFS optical fiber patents. Having resolved this dispute, the parties jointly look forward to a continued successful future business relationship. The terms of the settlement agreement are confidential.
